Ms Nightshade is new to the Robot Wars scene and has been built and designed by a female engineering team to be a unique spinning robot. This will be the first time in the arena for the team who have designed one of the tallest robots in the competition. The six petals with spikes surround the body which acts as a hammer. Ms Nightshade is designed not to destroy their competitors but to survive and has the ability to climb out of the pit.

What makes Ms Nightshade unique...

Katie and Jodie are students at the University of Brighton who became inspired to make their own robot after they studied a module involving fighting robots. As this will be their first time in the arena they have decided to play it safe and their tactics are to run away from their enemies. Their biggest fear is the spinners as they could seriously damage their armour however, they claim that the robot cannot be flipped.
