Heavy Metal’s unique weaponry is a 360-degree rotating weapon arm that has an interchangeable tip with the potential of adding a grabbing hook and a saw. The weapon is electrically powered with the arm moving at ten revolutions per minute.

What makes Heavy Metal unique...

This family-of-four team have put on hold major renovations on their house in order to fund the building of Heavy Metal for this series. They have designed a ‘never-been-seen-before’ robot, that has the ability to change it’s weaponry in a matter of seconds between a spinner, flipper, thwack bot or a large drill. John G has competed in five series of Robot Wars, and has even made it into the official Robot War Top Trumps card game, rated as the top driver. However this is his first time competing with his family, which makes it extra special.
