Jellyfish is a flat clamp robot designed to be built and fixed using only the most rudimentary tools, whilst remaining competitive. At 17 centimetres, tall it is the flattest robot in the competition but its weapon is a 120 centimentres clamping device, running the entire length of the robot which will allow it to manoeuvre opponents into hazards.

What makes Jellyfish unique...

Team captain Dave was a member of Team Nuts last year, however, he wanted to create his own robot this year and he’ll see his new team facing his old team mates in the group battle. Neither of the team members have any engineering experience other than Dave’s role in Team Nuts last year. Dave and Gemma are no strangers to TV as their romance was kindled when they both competed in BBC series Total Wipeout.
