Biggest Weakness All of the internal space is densely packed with the internal workings, which leaves it vulnerable if its shell is punctured.

Thermidor 2 is a lobster shaped robot with a powerful pneumatic flipper – it can lift 2,300 kg – the weight of an average rhinoceros. The machine can run upside down and use the flipper to self-right.

What makes Thermidor 2 unique...

Thermidor 2 is one of the longest competing robots, returning to Robot Wars for the eighth series in a row.  Dave has put his house renovation on hold to focus on rebuilding Thermidor 2. Dave’s daughter Poppy named her cat after her favourite house robot, Matilda.
