A popular robot amongst fans of Robot Wars, Dantomkia is a Flipper robot whose tactic is to deliver continuous flips to wear out and finally immobilise its opponents. Dantomkia can spin itself on the spot at a rate of 500rpm – turning the entire robot into a weapon. It has quick acceleration, and can reach a maximum speed of 20mph.

Captain Shane Swan purchased Dantomkia from its original owner Michael Lambert in 2015. He has made several amendments to the robot since, which he claims make it “50% more powerful” than the original.
