Biggest Weakness The disk could be its own worst enemy, and if the wrong type of contact was made with another robot, it could end up destroying itself.

M.R. Speed Squared has an enormous full-body kinetic energy disc. They have interchangeable weapons which they can attach to the disc depending on their opponents’ weakness. These include heavy weights and spikes. The 22kg steel disc spins at a force of 80 kilojoules – which the team say is powerful enough to slice through a car. M.R Speed Squared’s weapon fully protects the body and wheels of the robot, but could be susceptible to attacks from an axe. This is the only robot in the competition with a 360 degree full body spinner.
