Chimera is a full-body Axe robot, with the ability to pivot on its axis, and use the full strength of its body when damaging opponents. The robot was built with a limited budget of £1,500. Its armour was primarily taken from an “old gas canister,” it has two wheelchair motors to power it, and has its tyres taken from a Ford Fiesta.

Robot Wars has been a passion of Team Captain Jordan since he was three years old. He has watched every episode of the previous series on repeat, and can name every robot that has ever competed, including the team members – he even has a picture of Matilda on his wall.
