Biggest Weakness Kill-E-Crank-E has never been tested in battle as the team have only just finished its construction.

Kill-E-Crank-E is a two-wheeled robot with a powerful 8.5 kg vertical spinning disc in the centre, which spins at 450 rpm (about the same rate as a typical helicopter blade). The disk itself has three cobalt-edged bi-directional teeth. When the team drive towards their opponent they brake quickly, and the robot’s momentum flips itself over, bringing the spinner down forcefully in an arc onto their opponent. It is the widest robot in the competition. Kill-E-Crank-E is made mostly of stainless steel – they chose it as a material because it is ‘work-hardening,’ which means that the more the material is hit, the harder it gets to bend out of shape.

Kill-E-Crank-E’s wheels will have been made from the team’s original ‘Bodyhammer’ robot they competed with from Series 1 – using the material Twaron which is similar to Kevlar (a bullet proof material).
