Hobgoblin is the only ‘egg beater’ spinner in the competition, It has a 20-kilogram vertical spinner, which spins at approximately 2500 revolutions per minute, and which has a diameter of 250 millimetres creating a top speed of the weapon at 90 miles per hour. The team have recruited the winner of, ‘Best Driver in the Beetle weight class’ as their new driver, which they hope will lead them to the final.
